Updating and Checking in.

Good evening ladies. For those of you who know me, I hope everyone has progressed further successfully. For those that are new, well since I have been gone, I hope you have found the support on here as GREAT as I did in my time of need. I would come home from Dr. visits to sit right down, and discuss my visit. Just wanted to update everyone, In September, shortly after IKE left the building, I M/C for the 6 time at 8 wks, after our 1st IVF cycle. I was sooooo excited to finally be pregnant after a year of no pregnancies. Need less to say the preg. ended. Just completed our 2nd IVF cycle. On Dec. 3 I had my retrieval, 8 eggs were retrieved. On Thursday the Lab called stating 2 had fertilized 2 they weren't sure probably not going to make it. The other 3 were not good. On Friday, the report changed to 5 fertilized eggs. 3 grade A 2 grade B. Transfer on 12/06. My scheduled pregnancy test is Fri. 12/19. I cheated okay. Just like I did last time. I took a HPT test (clear blue easy digital) "PREGNANT". Told myself this is probably just a risidual of the trigger on 12/1. Today I took another test (clear blue easy regular) the damn test showed a negative. Decided I would actually read the directions just in case I missed something. How hard is it to Pee on stick, right? I am so glad I did. I noticed the test did not work right. The control window did not show a blue line. Came home pee'd in a cup, dipped the ovulation strips, and the HPT dipped in the pee. The ovulation sticks showed 2 blue lines. The pregnancy test +. I am so nervous. This is how my last M/C started. I found out early and by 8 wks no HB. So there's my story. At this point I think I am pregnant. I know I have been gone for awhile. I have stopped in to read, but not really post. I promised myself after the last M/C I would stop "just" focusing on getting pregnant. Start focusing on other things in my life. Keeping busy. Not sure about everyone else, but this had/has become an obsession with me. I needed to stop driving myself crazy with depression. Well just thought some of you might want to know how things are going.

Congrats!! I remember when you were going through your journey. Funny how we all come back no matter what. At this point I take POI shots 1ml at nite, progestrone suppositories 2X's morning, and nite, Estradial, Lovenox, and baby asprin. I am very excited trying not to be nervous. I keep telling myself this is it. This is the one. Feeling really positive this pregnancy. Told myself I am not going to worry about having another M/C. I have had toooo many already.

Yea!!!! Congratulations. Your number is great! It is actually the exact same as mine after my first beta (246) and I am expecting twins now. I don't remember my progesterone level. I had the same symptoms as you as well (peeing all the time and slight cramping). I also had a lot of gassiness, the kind that made me feel like I had to burp all the time. Do they have you on progesterone shots and estrogen patches? I had 1.5ml of progesterone every night and Estraderm patches every third day.

Congrats again!

Well, it's official. My blood test showed a positive pregnancy. My levels were 246, progestrone was 109. I go in on Tuesday for round 2 of the hormone check. This is where it's frightening. Last IVF didn't turn out so well. Been feeling sick after I eat, and have been going to the bathroom 2-3 times during the night. Is this normal this early in the pregnancy. I have had some slight cramping. A little like menstral, but not as strong. I know I probably should know this but I honestly can not remember from the last time. Thanks, everyone for being there when I needed them. I really feel as though everything is going to be good this time.

Just make sure this time you are doing everything possible to prevent a miscarriage including estrogen patches until 7 weeks, progesterone supplements until 12wks, baby aspirin until 12wks. Also avoid sex and excersice till 12 weeks. Just keep it easy. You may have done all this before, But I just wanted to let you know what my RE does to prevent miscarriage. Good luck honey
