Femara success/side effects?

I may be starting Femara (letrizole) next cycle and want to get some feedback.  This may be followed by timed intercourse and/or IUI.

My RE says Femara has less side effects and will be out of my blood before I conceive.

I truly appreciate any comments.

hello! we just had success with femara (and injectables) and we have endo, pcos and male factor! we did do IUI... however we may be losing this pregnancy (in the waiting game right now) as far as side effects, i didn't have many at all, and it actually can increase cervical mucus unlike clomid. and it does have a short half life so birth defects shouldn't be a worry!. a lot of people have success stories on this! good luck!

Yes, I think femara definitely has less side effects than clomid! I'm on my second cycle right now. Last month, I had no side effects, but this month I did have a headache for the first two days. But in general, I like femara a whole lot better than clomid! Best of luck to you!
