Low BETA numbers

Just have a question.  My husband and I had an IUI done on 9/5/10 and on 9/20/10 we got a BFP! Had my BETA test on 9/20/10 and the number was 46. I went back today 9/22/10 and BETA is only 59 so it did not double. RE is talking ectopic pregnancy, I go back Friday so I guess I will know. Was just wondering if anyone else had numbers that started low but turned out fine. I am so scared right now, any help would be appreciated.

Good luck to you. Like someone else said if you arent spotting then I would take it as a good sign. I had lots of spotting and it ended badly. I pray that you have different results.

Sorry to hear this is happening for you. I have already been thru 2 miscarriages & understand how difficult it is.  The #'s need to double every 24-48 hrs.  I would wait & see what the next test brings.  Good Luck to you!!

I am so sorry that you are having to go through this. But I will tell you that when I had my ectopic I was spotting from the time AF should have arrived and the pain started right around the 5wk mark. I would think that there would be pain by now if you were having an ectopic.
I hope all works out.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. It is awful to go through the excitement of a positive result and then be confronted with good numbers.
Last time I was pregnant, my first result was 22 and it resulted in miscarriage.
I hope everything is fine. Try not to stess (easier said than done, I know)
