No Helen... when I had the 14 follies last time, my ovaries felt pretty good.  Not like the first two tries.  Sorry if I told you anything different in the pm the other day. I can't remember... But yes, I felt like ****, but only because of the anaesthetic.  My ovaries were fine.  I think I had some mild cramping as of the next day for a couple of days but that was it.  And it was mild.
PS: Give me all the run you like... I'm delighted!

Thank you guys!!  I am still in shock about 16.  But I am glad to give Magda a run for her follies  :) I actually have no discomfort, like ivf or retrieval never happened.  Many people say that they feel like their ovaries are stuffed with walnuts and can barely walk.  I literally feel nothing.  Shouldn't those 16 follies stretch my ovaries??  Is this normal??  Certainly no OHSS for me.  Hoping for a day 5 transfer...

HELEN!!!  SO SO SO happy for you.  Like Mary said about her friend it's also just like me the second time.  I kept hoping you might have more than 11 but I was scared to say too much in case it didn't happen.  Really am happy for you.
Great to hear you're feeling so well too!
Can't wait to hear what the outcome is re number of embryos and how many fertilise.  You have a good chance of having some to freeze now!

Helen:  That is fantastic news.  Just like my friend, you apparently had some follies in hiding.  I hope your results will be like hers as she is ready to give birth on Friday.

I am also glad you are feeling well after the procedure.  I have heard of some people being uncomfortable, but you must feel great if you are going to teach.

NO CARTWHEELS TODAY.  ((Hugs))

Sooo, I just got back from my retrieval which was a piece of cake.  I don't even need aspirin, I feel totally normal except for my short-term memory loss but that is coming back slowly.  I ended up cancelling my morning classes but will teach at 2 pm.

The best news: I had 16 (!!) eggs retrieved.  I was in total shock.  They could not say how many were mature since they keep them in an incubator for a while.  Hoping for at least 10 fertilized eggs.  Embryologist said that we don't need icsi based on dh's s/a today so we are going with natural fertilization.  They'll call me tomorrow by 2 pm and let me know what's going on.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers and good wishes.  Your are a great support group and you are making this journey so much easier.
