My First IUI!

Hello everyone!
I don't post often, but I read everyday.  Tomorrow is my first IUI and I'm really excited and nervous at the same time.  I was on Clomid for days 3-7 and I had my trigger today at 11:30.  The nurse said I have three mature follicles and my lining is 9.4 (whatever that is).  So I go in tomorrow at 10 to do IUI.   I was pg once before after IVF and lost it at 6w4d this past Feb.  I had a lap done on June 11 and my tubes are clear and it looks great.  I ovulate on my own, I have CM, and my cycles are 24 days.  DH has low motility SOMETIMES.  Any advice? Success stories?  Will anyone pray for me tomorrow at 10 EST? Thanks!

WOW Thats great news. I also have 2-Mature Eggs which I am hoping it will be twins. I am hoping it will work. First IUI I had 63 million this time I had 82-million and 2-mature eggs I am hoping will work. Since they gave me the HCG shot on tuesday and I had my IUI on Wed, when will the eggs actaully drop?

Wow you guys are good.  I had 2 IUI's this month 8 million on the first day and 2 million the other 95% motility and 85% the second day.  Good luck ladies!

I'm glad to hear your IUI's went well, hopefully they will be your first and last!!  I'm on my 3rd one and I am 6dpiui.  My husband had 80 million count and the dr. said that was fantastic since you only need 1 million for an IUI to be successful :-)  We did 2 back to back IUI's and count was 80 million each time, so we have 160 million swimmers up there. I also produced 2 eggs naturally, so I am hoping that the 3rd time is the charm and that maybe I will have twins.  Then I don't have to go through this again.

I am guilty of being "pregnant" every month, too!!

LisaRG- Your first IUI too!  That is exciting! I do not have sore nipples which is weird because I usually do when ovulating. Ok, nevermind, I take that back. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.   Did you have a trigger shot?

Babybaw4- I'm sorry it was painful.  82 million! Wow! I'm jealous! I am hoping and praying it works for all of us.  Yeah, lets keep us informed.  Maybe start a 2ww thread...

IUI went well today, its just painful for me which ***** but the sperm had 50% mobility and in the vial no bigger than my thumb nail had 82 million I assume that is good. I am hoping and praying it works.. Now we just twiddle our thumbs for 2 weeks. RE 17 days after so by July 26 if i dont have my period then I come in for a blood test.. Hi,
I had my first IUI on monday.
My DH had a count of 2.9, but that was because we BD the night before instead of abstaining.  I was freaking out that I would ovulate to early ( this is making me a nut case.)
I have sore nipples ( anyone else), but that seemed to start with my ovulation - but you are right.  I am pregnant every month:)

Thank you all for praying for me and cheering  me on! The IUI went really well today.  She did say there was only a sperm count of 2.5 million so I'm a little nervous about that.  I should've known, my dh has low motility.  I can't decide if I'm going to POAS is 12 days or just wait to see if AF comes back (so not cool).  

BTW-Michelle in Hawaii-I wish I was there!  Twins would be wonderful.  I've wanted twins all my life.  Dh used to be really nervous about that but now he's hoping for twins too.

I'll be watching for symptoms in about a week I guess.  Although, I'm "pregnant" every month-lol!  Anyone else have phantom pg signs?  Maybe I'm just crazy.

Yea! We're IUI buddies!  I hope it went well for you today.  My dh has low motility and after the wash this morning they said there was a count of only 2.5 mil.  Uh oh!  I do hope it works out for both of us and we get our BFPs at the same time! =)

Three mature follicles and a thick lining sounds like a recipe for success!  IUI should definitely help out if you are dealing with motility problems.  It's just a little after 10 now, so I guess things are in motion for you.  Hope all goes well.  Best of luck to you!!

Good Luck to you, I also get my IUI tomorrow. I had 2-good follies measuring 19" and 22" RE said that is good and they are on my lft side. I h ad my HCG shot today at 11:30. All my tests are have been good, its my husband who has no sperm, we had 3-SA's done and none :( We are using Donar sperm this will be my 2nd IUI and hope it works as its getting exausting and expensive. After your IUI go home and try on your own as any extras may help too.  Unless they tell you to come back for a second IUI (dual iui if you haven't ovulated yet).
