No response to stimulants

I am on my 10th day of the stimulating drugs (Follistim and Repronex) and am having no positive response (follicle growth) and no side effects.  The last ultrasound actually showed fewer follicles (1) than the previous one!  I suspect that the doctor will be pulling the plug tomorrow but my question is:  has anyone ever had this experience??  Any suggestions on what questions I should be asking the doctor tomorrow would be appreciated.

Follistim didn't work well for me.  I got only one follicle each time.  They switched me to Menapure and repronex and I did a little better - 7 follicles.  THat resulted in a chemical pregnancy.  This time we did the same drug protocol and I added acupunture.  That resulted in 14 follicles with 10 eggs - 7 good embryos.  Well I say good.  I am forty with high fsh.  I will find out tomorrow if I am BFP.

I  had this problem with my first cycle of IVF. All that happened was they stopped my cycle and then the next one that u had they increased my meds and i ended up with 6 eggs that all fertilised. I asked them why this had hapened and they said that the first cycle is more of a trial to make sure that they dont overstimulate.

this is my first month on injectables, i'm about to start tomorrow. so i dont' have personal experience, but i do know that it happens and sometimes the next cycle people respond much better after a little change of meds... Hopefully someone can help you more than I can, but wanted to wish you luck! I'm praying that he makes some adjustments that your body will like much more and you'll get preg soon! : )
