Gestation sac at 1.68cm at 7.6wks but no embryo plz help plz has anyone has this happened, plz help pretty plz

Hello everyone ive been very busy and happy,but today my happiness went from 10 down to 0. I had my second ultrasound, the first one was on my first prenatal care visit which was a week ago on 7/24, and they say everything was fine they saw the sac and my pregnancy was where it should be at this stage which was 7wks 1day. Today, i went to my second viability ultrasound and they saw the sac which measures 1.68cm about 7.6wks prg but no embryo, the docs has advise me that i might be having another miscarriage. I have been scheduled for another one in 1wks next tuesday but also has advise me that if nothing is seen they will either give me meds for a M/C or a D&C done later if not naturally. So has anyone has this happen plz let me know

I"m so sorry to hear that you are going through this.. just the waiting can be awful, not to mention all the things that go through your mind, no one can prepare anyone for a situation like that!      Did they see a fetal pole/heart beat anything at your US last week? by 7 weeks they should have been able too.... or did they see it and now its gone?    There is always still hope.. you do hear success stories and I pray that you are one of them!  
   I was in a similar situation very recently that dind't turn out a success.. we were 6.5 weeks when we went for our first us and it was measuring small and no embryo (it was devastating we were hoping to see a heart beat and instead got bad news) we were told we had less than a 1% of viable preg.. so it DOES happen.. well 10 days nothing/ had stopped my progesterone still no signs of mc.. went back for another ultrasound gest sac measuring a little behind but no fetal pole/embryo (so it was a blighted ovum) a week or so later ended up miscarrying..meanwhile had horrible morning sickness while waiting ... I wouldn't wish it upon anyone! like I said I hope that you will be a success story, it defintely DOES happen, not often, but it does!    Good luck to you and you and your family are in my prayers!!!

I'm so sorry for what you're going through.  I had a pg like that in 2003 and sadly it ended in a m/c.  I pray that your next appt. will show good news.

I wish you luck.  I am also in early pregnancy and go for my first Ultrasound on August 12th.  I wish I had some advice but it sounds like the other ladies had some good information.  All I can is I hope it ll works out for you.

Im so sorry...same thing happened to me and I ended up with D&C.....I had a sac but no embryo.....ohhhhh...that was soo bad, I was so dipressed,,,I am soo sorry but try not to think very negative...it is always a painful process...

i'm sorry.  yes unless you are a week earlier then the outcome may not be good.  it sounds like my secind MC where no baby formed at all, i think it's called a blighted ovum.  you should go back in one week, or even ask that they see if your hcg levels are rising or falling.

Unless the dates are off quite a bit, I am sorry to say it doens't sound good. By this time a fetal pole and hb should be seen. There are always exceptions. If the dates are off or if the u/s is a cruddy one and bad pics. At almost 8wks, you should be able to see a lot more. I am praying for you that the dates are wrong.

AAWW I am so sorry.. I am nervous myself I just found out I am pregnant last week I go for my first Ultrasound on Aug 5 which then I think I will be 4-weeks I was thinking that was early so I guess we will see what happens. So far my Hcg is good but I go again on friday. I will pray for you, I am so sorry you have to go through this.. You mentioned this is your second M/C?
