Bleeding on 1st Preg Test: Update

HI all,

I got a BFP on Wednesday the 10th accompanied with substantial bleeding. My Beta was 67.5.  I went
for my 2nd today (Friday). Beta creeped up to 121 (wish it were higher) and I am still bleeding/cramping. I'm starting progesterone in oil tonight (due to a drop in my progesterone number.)  I also stopped taking the baby aspirin as of today.

Just wanted to post an update in case anyone is experience similar bleeding or cramping.

Hey there! I wouldn't worry. The same thing happened to me when I was pregnant. I found out at 6 weeks, and for 10 days prior to that I was bleeding ( not red, it was brown but pretty much full flow!)  And they did an u/s and my baby was fine! I never knew my beta numbers, never had blood drawn, they just did u/s all the time. But since your beta is still good, I wouldn't worry! I don't remember having cramping, but a lot of women say they do in early pregnancy, so keep your chin up! :)  Good luck and keep us posted!

I will definately keep you all posted. I am so glad I found this website. I thought I could do all this by myself. But, your input and encouragement means so much to me right now. I will pray for you all every single day. We're all in the same boat.

BUt stopping the baby aspirine sounds smary - it loosens your blood!

Your numbers look really good . They don't always double but I have seen many Viable preganancies with those numbers Don't worry about the bleeding. Everything is looking really good for you!!!!! Congrats!!!

Congrats on your BFP!  I wouldn't worry about the bleeding if your numbers were so close to doubling.  Try not to stress too much about it and wait on your third set of numbers.

Best wishes and soooper sticky baby dust!!
