Will Yeast Infection affect IVF Implantation
I am 39 years old..I had my first ivf jan 09, it was not successful. April 1, 2009 we transferred back the remainding 3 frozen embryo's using my natural cycle no drugs or stimulants.. My ovulation test was positive on my 15th (Sun) and 16th(Mon) day.
on weds 18th day of cycle: The eggs were transferred back two days after my ovulation because they were 2 days old.
In the meantime, my husband and i had sex hoping that maybe i could get pregnant naturally as well since i ovulated and one of my eggs was 18mm on day 16 of my cycle.. On the same day of my scan 16th day i started to feel like i was getting a yeast infection on the 2nd day my ovulation.. i told the dr he said he didn't want to give me anything for it and that i should just eat yoghurt and drink pure cranberry juice and stay away from yeast products.
On the day they transferred my 3 embryo's back i still had a yeast infection and now two days later it seems to be worse.. I've been drinking cranberry juice and having yoghurt 2x's a day. I am wondering if i should be eating more of the yoghurt.. The yeast infection has gotten worse, it's thicker now and slightly yellowish. Does this mean it is drying up and going away or getting worse?
I am afraid that this will affect my embryo transfer i don't want to use med's since my dr did not advise it? Am i worrying for nothing or is there something else i can do to clear up the yeast infection. How many days will it take to clear up with this natural remedy?

about me,my transfer is tomorrow wed 1.00pm USA time,but i have to be there at 11.30am my acupuncturist want to do acupuncture b4& after transfer.so pray for me pray 4 me.gosh iam so nervus,& scared.my dear tthis time i dont wanna hear that unfortunately ur result came negative oh my gosh NO WAY i never heard a positive news i hope this is my time too.so pray for me.my blood work will be on 24th april in 9days the will do my blood work,i dont know y they r doing early this time last time they did on 14th day.any ways u takecare goodluck to u.&tons & tons of baby dust and baby vibes .keep in touch.

Funny, i just logged on and was thinking about you.. you should be doing your transfer this week, what day are you scheduled for your transfer?
Originally I was going to go in today, but for some funny reason i woke up relaxed and thought i'll wait til thurs.. i haven't been very patient in the past and thought that this time i'd like to try being patient and relaxed about taking the test, besides i get to enjoy a few more days thinking that i'm possibly pregnant which feels pretty good:)
So my big day is thurs morning 16/4/09 8:00am (singapore time), i'll get the results by noon.. i can't believe its finally here.. i have to admit i'm a bit nervous but i'm also wishing and praying for the best..

Good to know that you are doing your FET I am praying for you to have BFP this time. As for me I am still palnning to do it in July yes I am planning to go with my D/H to FL, but still thinking about it if I should go we are planning to visit my niece in New Orlens she is graduating on May so I am trying to catch up with my work after the two weeks off.
