Is it normal to have high temp when you are beginning your period?

I've been TTC for almost 2 years, and its especially hard because my husband travels for his job. My usual luteal phase is anywhere between 10-12 days. Today marks14 DPO. I went to the bathroom (sorry TMI) and wiped and there was brown tinged stuff coming out. Could this be the start of my period? i ovulated on April 31 and had sex. But the cramps, back ache, etc tell me its AF coming. So should my temp fall soon?

Hi,

Your temp should stay high max 16-18 days after you've ovulated. If it goes beyond, it usually means your preggers. It can be implantation bleeding or the beginning of your period. I would say, give it 3 more days and if nothing comes, look into getting a pregnancy test. Good luck!

That may be implantation bleeding.  I know I had that right before I knew I was pregnant, and even before that my temperature was high for a few days.

I would go with mommyagain123 and take an hpt.  Post results!!!

my temp always stays high even in the middle of the day from ovulation until my cycle actually starts - if you are 14 dpo and your cycle doesn't come on full force by this evening take a hpt with fmu tomorrow!! Hopefully you'll get your bfp! Hopefully you were seeing implantation spotting :) baby dust and good luck
