Any insight on this?

I have been resisting the diagnosis for quite a few years but have been experiencing severe pain for the past couple of weeks and just want any pain killers that can give me relief.  I am wondering if stopping the drug Lipitor could be exascerbating the problem.  My symptoms sound like those caused by taking lipitor but I'm wondering if going off of it could be a form of withdrawal?  Any insight would be most helpful.

Lipitor can cause muscle aches and pains but I don't believe going off of it would cause you continued distress.
CoQ10 an enzyme that helps the muscles is a good idea to take when on Lipitor and when withdrawing from.

It is  good for people with FM to also take Omega 3, magnesium, and Calcium with D.

I am not familiar with Lipitor, but I did google it, side effects of taking it r muscle pain....fibro has a tender point test and is the result after ur dr has eliminated other conditions that share the same symptoms...see the health pages to the right of the screen...scroll down......ur best bet would be to see ur dr.

Good luck
