About Lyrica!?!

I have had fibro for about 20 years and lately it has been worse, pain so bad I cannot rest in bed.  I tried Lyrica last night, woke up pain free, but otherwise feeling a little groggy, but my mood was good an I had some energy.  Actually felt a little bit "high."  What are others experience with this drug--I need to work so I have to function too, does thie really work?  Thanks alot!

I've also taken this before and am now off of it.  While it did help, it was quite expensive (even with insurance) and I didn't like the way it played with my cognition...making me experience more brain fog and having trouble comprehending some things.

I'm glad it worked for you and you got some relief from pain.  A good nights sleep is so important for us and I assume you know that it can work because of your experience.  It will tend to make one feel groggy.  Please be careful to see how it effects you, as you don't want to drive while feeling 'high'.  Be safe and take care.

Hi;
   I tried Lyrica and couldn't take it. The side effects were too much for me. But there are other members here that take it and have had good results. Try it for a week and see how yo feel. Sometimes it takes several days for a med to really get into your system.
