Fibromyalgia / RA or both

Just a run down on whats happened to me over the past 8 months .... it started with a painful finger which then seemed to move to a few other fingers, knees, toes, elbows and lower back, not excuciating pain just "sore" one day I got up for work and could hardly walk everything was sore.
About 3 months ago I started having tingling in my fingers and feet and like a throbbing feeling in them,my feet would buzz and burn like crazy like they had been set on fire almost, this has progressed to what I can only describe as if  there are motors running in my arms and legs,I also have all over pain in my joints and muscles like I've been hit by a bus some days, the jonts are not unbearable but it's there alright and the morning stiffness remains, the fatigue has been unbearable,to the point where I have been unable to go to work for 6 months..... I would fall asleep after an hour lol
I saw a Rheumatologist 4 months ago when I only had pain in my toes and fingers, blood work was done and Xrays also, the only thing that was revealed by all that was a Positive Rhem Factor everything else was normal. I am due to see him again tomorrow he knows nothing of all these other symptoms that have arisen since i last saw him because of 4 month waiting time to see him.
In the meantime 2 months ago my own Doctor said he would try me on something to help my symptoms and prescribed Lyrica  ..... since then although I still have it all going on it seems to be very much in the background now and i am not so aware of it except when the medication is starting to wear off,I have felt much better since starting this medication and have not had any side effects from it at all,the fatigue is much better too but i still have days where I feel I can't do much I'm just too tired, but those days have lessened since taking the Lyrica.

On my first consultation with the Rheumatologist he precribed Methotexate which i refused to take I felt it was just too toxic a drug for painful toes and fingers besides I was not convinced of the RA diagnosis based on a few painful toes and fingers .... I have no swelling on any of my joints, just this all over soreness and mild joint pain.

Does my symptoms sound like Fibromyalgia/RA or possibly both.
I would appreciate any input as I am getting nowhere with the Doctor and Specialist I am seeing, the only helpful thing so far has been the Lyrica.
I asked my Doctor what was wrong with me his answer was ..... to shrug his shoulders and say .... "I don't know" not very reassuring huh!

Thank You
Daisy

I'm going to say go with the rheumatologist. If his work backs him then...
I have both fibro and r a ( fibro came first ) and when the r a came on that exhaustion just about did me in! The pain, the exhaustion, it just felt different than what I knew and felt from the fibromyalgia. Maybe there's a drug out there for you that's not too strong but will ease your pains. I hope you get the definitive answers you're looking for.
