I believe a lot of FM patients gain weight because of the medications they are on. Are you taking anything for your FM?

I was told i had FM about a year ago, but never believed it because of the type of symptoms I had. I as well have lost about 25lbs within a month back in Jan 08. I have not changed my eating habits in anyway, and i had not worked out in over 10yrs.

Currently going to an ENT for swollen lymph nodes, I am hoping they figure me out soon.

It sounds more like you have an illness other than FMS.  Have you have an entire GI series for the weight loss and stomach pain? If not you really should.  The only time that I lost weight that fast without trying is when my Thyroid went from being Hypothyroid to Hyperthyroid.  Has your sleep changed to insomnia? Do you feel like you can stop moving around?  Matbe you should Google your symptoms that go with stomach pain and weight loss without trying.

I don't think so.  I think most people gain weight because they can't be very active.  However, if you had so much pain you couldn't eat then I guess it's possible.
