Hello, I just joined as well.  How are you doing?  I'm on day two of withdrawing from fentanyl pain patches.  I have herniated discs and fibromyalgia.  Anything in particular you'd like to talk about??

Welcome to the Fibro group. I hope you find your time here beneficial. Fibro is a difficult disorder to live with and there are many here who have been living w it for some time now and have a lot to offer. It's just nice knowing that we are not alone out there. Mchance003, I had a herniated disc last year that I had to have surgically repaired after going through numerous alternative treatments and know how very painfull that can be. I was literally crawling around on my floor cause I couldn't walk anymore. The surgery was successfull, woke up from it with the pain gone, but still have to be carefull what I do as far as bending and lifting.

I am also interested in forming a support group for fibromyalgia, if you are anyone are interesed please let me know. I was diagnosed 2 yrs. ago.
