Hi,

I love brussels and my husband does too, but the kids would not touch it and they have school dinners which is alot better then my cooking and how i remember them lol.

Yes i bet the packers are still laughing now ha ha still at least i made somebody laugh, and laughter is the best medicine.

Yes i guess my typing is getting better, i have to say your very good at the typing and just how long you can write, my brain takes ages to digest some of the postings on these forums, but i have to say the A/D has helped me get my sence of humour back given me more energy help me cope with pain better and help my brain to get into gear more. I am abit more distance though (so my husband tells me) but he would rather that then the mess i was in.

Maybe it would be better to get a electric car or adapt your mums.

Its the NHS they are so slow i never get to talk to my consultant unless its a emergency it seems so different in the U.S.A and if your private cover.

I will ask about my blood results next time along with other things i want to ask.

Hi Sam,
That brussel sprout story is one for the CFS cognitive dsyfunction record books!!! Those packers must still be keeling over in laughter.  One lone sprout in a bag.  Hey, you made a bunch of peoples' days'!  Well that's what you get for serving brussel sprouts : ).  ...It's one veggie my mom didn't like, so she never served them or made us eat them.  So, do you know how to cook them so they taste good?  (What does ONR stand for?)

I've only got a week to leave for Thanksgiving, and I'm sure I'm going to run out of time.  I can't seem to get my head organized so that I get things done.  (That's CFS for you.)  I haven't been seeing very many more cars.  There's plenty here, but I get sick in them for days afterward so it's unappealing, and it's a drive, and my car is unpleasent to schlep in, and whine, whine, whine.  I'm going to stop at Home Depot and see what I can use to see if I can adjust my mom's car by rasing the floor under my feet.  Someone suggested maybe California has some different electric car - and turns out there's a local chapter of electric car owners meeting just before thanksgiving.  They should be intelligent folks, even if they mostly seem to own gutted redesigned Priuses (a Toyota hybrid).

Your typing is getting more together - so maybe the newest combination of meds is working better?  The free transport is great.  The kids might be sad for now (they'll make friends and get over it), but at least it gives you more time to cook those brussel sprout(s).

I thought by now you'd have heard about the lumbar puncture and MS.  I just requested a bunch of records from the last year from various doctors.  As I'm going through it's good to see in writing that everything was fine, since I always wonder when there's not call if a positive just slipped through.

Talk to you soon!

Any to anyone else - you're welcome to jump in with info on MRI's and car's and doctors - or share your favorite cogntive dishap story!

Hi Hun,

Good to hear form you.

No dx as yet still awaiting LP results and EMG, i never seem to hear from the blood work so i guess its ok, it drives you mad over here the NHS but i guess we are thankfull though we do pay for it through are pay packets so we should be getting more really.

Got a MRI of the lumber/pelvic region next friday and that will be a two week wait till i get that back so im hoping ill get an answer this side of the year lol (not funny really) but i think i can tell them whats wrong by know the amount iv learnt off here and research iv done lol

Iv got my kids on the free school transport so thats less driving so thats good but sad as its one less thing i can do now!! kids are not too happy about it as well.

Had a real brain fog moment yesterday, i did the shop online as my husband has been ill with a virus (man flu no doubt lol) and i thought i had done well when i unpacked i realised i had ordered a JAR of mince meat instead of FRESH and  purchased the weight of ONE brussel sprout!! imagine the packers face when then got that list!! and the thing is they did it ONR brussel sprout in a tiny bag, still it made me laugh.

How are you? busy by the sound of it. Have you got a car yet?
