It helped me a great deal. However, in the state of Kentucky no such luck in getting a medical perscription.
Thatks for the input. Think I might give it a try.
Oh, and the weed also helps me sleep.
I have tried weed for my fibo pain, and it really helped. I don't get that paranoid feeling, because I tell myself that it's ok, since it's to help me, not to get high. Anyway, here is one example: one day my low back hurt so bad that I thought I would have to be rushed to the ER; my legs were numb and weak, etc, along with my neck and arm pain. I wanted to die, and had already taken so many pain pills that day. I didn't think the weed would work for the back pain, but eventually I smoked some. Within an hour, I was scrubbing my shower ! I only need about 3 hits! I would smoke it more often, but I have a 13 yr old son who I don't want knowing. My 17 year old daughter knows, and is totally supportive. I live in a state in which it is legal.
Thanks for your reply. My dr recently put me on Lyrica, and it has been helping a lot.
Yes I was using weed for pain and it made ME feel very tense and much much worse. I quit smoking
cigs and using weed about 6wks ago and the pain levels are better. Just a different opinion, everyone
is different. Good luck to you.
Yes, it's great for pain.
My bestfriend, who suffers from fibromyalgia, smokes religiously. It only eases her pain, as she also takes a few other meds and is on a morphine patch, but she would never give up her weed.
If you are lucky enough to live somewhere where you can get a scrip, by all means take advantage!
And be thankful you don't live somewhere where they still don't have a clue.
Good luck. :)
