pain in base of feet

I have been suffering from fms for 11 years, and have been on many types of medication, and many doctors without experience in this field, i am now under a great hospital doctor, however he cannot even explain why i am getting excessive pain on the outside base of both feet. Is there anyone else who suffers from this problem? any advise to share?

this was one of the first signs that i had fibromyalgia last year, and it is the first sign this time too, which is a shame because i am not looking forward to what is on the way.

i have no idea why they are so painful, but some days it's hard to walk.

Hi , I have lived with CFS and Fibro for almost 19 years , 3 years ago I started to get the pain in my feet you are describing , got worse , then went to what felt like electricity in my feet then anchles , then in legs . Kept spreading the longer I had it. I have the best CFS doctor in the country , world renouned , and still no help. Finally I asked to see a foot doctor . Was told it wouldn't help !!  Wrong .  Went to foot doctor , I needed orthotics , and It helped alot !!!!!!!!  CFS and Fibro , both have similar problems , that the muscle is no longer supporting the bone structure, and feet go first , they do the most work , and it will feel like your walking on the bones , with no cushoning at all. Try a good podiatrist " foot doc " did me a world of good .   Hope this helps.
