Husbands symptoms

My husband is having a warm sensation in his left leg and foot. He wonders what this could be?He has high chloresterol level. Would this have anything to do with it? He's never had this feeling before. He does take Lipitor for his chloresterol.Occasionally has Hernias.

I WOULD HAVE HIS LEG EVALUATED FOR CLOTS, WHICH CAN BE DONE THROUGH AN ULTRASOUND.
