Strange blistering toe rash. Please help!!

I have a very strange itchy and painful rash on my toes. It started about 5 weeks ago and has progressively gotten worse. They start as a small hard lump which then turn into blisters after a few days that contain clear fluid and sometimes turn into blood blisters. They get itchy at times, especially at night. The bumps are different sizes and mainly on my little toes but there are a few large ones on my big toes. The biggest one is about the size of a cheerio. I have seen 3 doctors so far who weren't helpful at all. The first thought it might be herpetic whitlow so he gave me an antiviral which I finished with no effect on the rash. I had also used an anti-fungal on it when it first began. After some online research, I thought they might be chilblains because I do have poor circulation in my legs. My feet have always been freezing cold and I am on a beta blocker for my heart. All of the conditions I have researched don't really look like what I have though. I am fearful of infection. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions??

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
you have some sort of dermatitis...it could be contact dermatitis with possible secondary infection with fungus and bacteria.
i recommend applying a small area with cortisone.  you will need a prescription.  i recommend westcort .2% cream twice daily to the area. patch test an area and make sure it doesn't worsen..
then, once the blisters decrease, start applying ketoconazole 2% cream twice daily for 2 weeks.  this should do  it.  also, soak the feet in epson salts and warm water for 15 min daily.  this will dry out the blisters.
unfortunately, these medications are prescription only. call your pcp do prescribe it for you.

Thank you so much. You were pretty much right on. Dermatologist said it looks like it started as a fungal infection.. he thinks vesicular athlete's foot and then became some severe bacterial infections. He gave me antibiotics, an anti-fungal pill and cortisone cream. It started clearing up right away. My skin still looks pretty gross because the blisters dried up and what is left is really dry, tough and cracked skin. Not sure if I should use a moisturizer just yet.. I'm afraid of irritating it.
