7 year old tummy pains

my seven year old daughter constantly complains of stomach aches. every morning when she wakes up she has a stomach ache and she gets car sick and motion sickness very easily. she will even wake up in the middle of the night sometimes and come and wake me up complaining of the pains. My husband thinks she does it for attention but i am not so sure. I picked her up from school today because she complained of stomach issues but by the time i got there she seemed okay, then an hour later she was complaining and telling me she was feeling sick to her stomach, i encouraged her to eat and take some pepto bismol and that she would feel better but before we got to the medicine she vomited. now she seems fine. She doesn't throw up everyday, but it is not uncommon.... anyone know what we may be dealing with?

maybe a stomach virus. Need to take her to a doctor, and then get a second opinion if your suspicions still are there.

I'm not a Dr. but what time of day is the worst for her..is it after meals?  Could food be a trigger?  There is something called migraines that affect the stomach.  I would talk with a Dr., and see if you can try some Mylanta or Gas X and see if that makes any difference at all.
