keep us updated. Be consistent with the diet change, chances are it will work. A high acid diet will cause an acid complex. Take care!
Thankyou for your replies.
I am sure his diet is contributing largely to the problem... we are trialing different diets as there are so many conflicting ideas out there.
We are hoping to have some more tests at his net doctors visit to rule out defects since he has had it since birth.
What I am hoping for his a thorough checkup by the pediatrician and then a firm plan that we can stick to in order to get his reflux under control.
I don't want to eliminate foods unecessarily so I will see what is recommended for him.
Meanwhile we are just avoiding foods which are obvious (fizzy drinks, junk, milkshakes, etc etc).
Thanks Callysmommy, Cheryl & shaz71 for your input!
Is he still on any meds? and is he under a peadiatrician? what do they say if he is? Obviously the problem needs sorting out before he has no teeth left bless him. Sharon x
There are some good websites showing reflux and the acid cause dental decay as well as sinusitis!
I lost my links but there is a corellation from what I've seen and been told by our ped dentist along with certain meds taken, too .... anything sugar should not be taken late at night.
Diet plays a huge part; along with being certain nothing is wrong from birth .. has he had tests?
Cheryl
my question is, what does his diet consist of? Get him on an alkaline diet, and off junk food, carbs, sodas, sugar.
