Thanks for your thoughts. I'm on plenty of other medications treating heart disease and parkinson's disease. I've been on those meds for years. I have made modifications in both lifestyle and eating. I've lost 27 pounds in the past two months. Exercise regularly. Have about another 30 to lose.
Here's an update. Spoke to my dr this afternoon. She increased Zantac to 300 mgs. per day and also prescribed Carafate to be taken four times daily, two teaspoons per dose, for a total of eight teaspoons. So the regiment is Kapidex (60 mgs. daily), Zantac (300 mgs. daily) and the Carafate. Hope it works. Will speak to her next week about the tests you mentioned. Thanks for your suggestions!
Hi...may I ask r u on meds for nething else?...under stress?
ANd most important have u made modifications to ur diet and lifestyle which all should be done along with meds in order to help u feel better.
Did u have a PH test done?...checked for H.Pylori?
