Sorry I don't....u don't get nauseated do u?
hmmmm I wish I could offer u some info on this...but , I would say keep the journal and take it with u to the GI dr visit and explain all this to him/her.
Have they looked at ur Gall Bladder?...just a thought.....

believe or not but my symptoms increases mostly with eating frequently. I have been testing foods for 4 years and i have only found oily and acidic or alkali beverages increase my reflux for that moment, but generally all the foods have equal effects, even water. Even drinking too much water frequently, 1 liter per day, can trigger my coughing and increase my phlegm causing that lump feeling in my throat. I had to remain thirsty not to increase it. I am not sure if these are similar to LPR symptoms of other people. I also have pain in left side of my belly and lower left side of my stomach and no pain in my upper stomach at all. Do you have any idea about these symptoms?
Keep a journal...and do what works for u...not all foods that r deemed safe may be for u nor will all that r tagged "to avoid" unsafe...u have to find which r ur triggers, and keeping a journal may help u see what is the best way or times to eat and what foods work well for u too.
Keep in mind, it may be what u r eating and the time not how often....
Make sure u do not lay down for 3 to 4 hrs after eating, and try to have the head of ur bed elevated to help with keeping the acids down in the stomach.
Reflux can take time to calm down so be persistent with diet and lifestyle modifications.

hello again Selma
I havent talked to doctor yet and i will tell as soon as i go again. After some time again, reflux continues :(. I again realized something new recently. My LPR symptoms gets worse when eating frequently despite what the doctors say. Eat more often, and small amounts doesn't work out for me. Instead if i skip the dinner and wait until next day, my symptoms gets better for that day. What do you think about this? :)
Many dairy products like milk can trigger reflux...especially if u have a slow LES dairy can slow it even more allowing more acids to rise up.
So yes, milk can be an issue...
Have a talk with ur Dr about this possibility and let us know : )

well, i started to dig in further becuase it was really a mess, 2 days ago i ate just a macaroni nothing else and my lpr symptoms almost dissapeared yesterday. today i started again but with a less reflux. i think now it is related to some kind of food like Milk??? Is it possible that Milk create such a trouble in my stomach?
I am sorry it didn't help...but, modifying ur diet and lifestyle can...so do look into that as well as seeing ur Dr for more possible reasons as to what is going on...u want to know the root of ur GERD issues...that way u treat the cause not just the effects.
Good luck

i think you are right. i see that now nothing changed :(
Hi...the reason u r seeing some changes is bcuz with LPR u have a lot of phlegm and really cold drinks may make u feel like it got more congested in ur throat, thicker....it is affecting what is there, not the condition.
U do need to avoid acidic foods, eating later at night, etc....it could very well be that ur LES is slow to close...and what u eat is affecting it as well as the temp of what u eat or drink.
See ur Dr...and read the attached article to see what foods u should avoid and lifestyle tips that can help u feel better.-
