by Mshell085, Mar 16, 2009 11:21AM
Hello...My 9 month old son has had severe Reluxdiesease, but a Natralpathic doctor thinks it is H-pylori.  He has been on Prevacid for 7 months and I think the natropathis doctor is right?  Any experience with this out there?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I am sorry ur son is dealing with this for so long.I understand that they use antibiotics to try and tame the H.Pylori.
It is possible this may help.If this dr is ur son's dr than u have an answer. If not, u may want to see what his dr thinks of this possibility.

Please post an update on ur son's progress

H Pylori can be tested for.  When my daughter last year was very sick it ws tested negativve two times, but ask your Dr to test to rule it out or take meds for it and let us know how you make out!

Hi there ...my son is 2.5 years old and he has had recuring bouts with vomiting.  Each time at nighttime about 5 hrs after he goes to bed and beginning with sulfer (rotten egg burps) stomach pain then vomiting. THe next day he is fine...until it happens again.  There is no rhyme or reason.  Sometimes 2 weeks apart (episodes) sometimes 2 months.  Anyone experience this?
