Hi,
If your question is about GERD-

1. There is no special diet for GERD. But certain dietary changes would be helpful. Avoiding citrus, tomatoes, spicy food, coffee, alcohol, cola would be beneficial.

2. Yes it is treatable wit proton pump inhibitors like prilosec and lifestyle modifications.

3. Longterm uncontrolled GERD can lead to a condition called Barrett's esophagus which can lead to cancer. Not all persons with GERD develop this. And in those in whom it develops, it takes many years to develop.
