Food stuck in throat

This may sound very silly but here goes.Today (about 10 hours ago) I had porridge. The particular brand is by Tesco and is really bad.Ever since eating it I have a bit (or maybe bits) of porridge stuck at the back of my mouth just near my throat.I have tried everything from drinking hot water,to eating a heated up better brand of porridge,to gargling water to using the toothbrush to try to remove it and NOTHING will work! The same thing happened last night. It feels awful!Does anybody have any idea as to how I can get rid of it? Thank you.
