Frothy Saliva/H. Pylori

I tested positive for H. Pylori in Nov 07.  I was put on Aciphex(20mg) and two antibiotics to treat the H. Pylori.  Two days after starting the triple therapy for H. Pylori I started salivating all day and night.  The saliva I spit out looks frothy.  I wake up with a dry mouth, sore throat, and I am losing my appetite.  Also, I was diagnosed with gastritis by the GI specialist.  The GI specialist is on vacation and I won't see him for at least a week.  I took the breath test last week to see if the H. Pylori is still present.  I do not know the result yet.
At this point I am lost for an answer?  Could I be suffering from bile reflux?  At times I have a slight cramp below my navel and I am constantly belching.  Sometimes I feel a slight burning sensation in my esophagus(it feels like the saliva is coming up from my stomach).

Hi  sqwak1200,
You are having symptoms of reflux.

People with H. pylori infection generally  do not suffer from acid reflux.
So you might be probably having a bile reflux.

- Do a upper GI endoscopy
- 24/ 48 hours pH monitoring might help you in the diagnosis.
- Discuss with your doctor regarding treatment with PPI and sucralfate.

Thanks, I did have an Endoscopy with a stomach biopsy.  Which came back positive for H. Pylori.  I have suspected Bile reflux.  But the saliva is frothy but rather odorless.  I am having difficulty sleeping as result of the constant need to spit out the saliva.

Thank you for the answer and I have an appointment with the GI doc in a few days.
