Gas and heart palpitations

I have been having real bad gas/indigestion/heartburn for about a month and lately it has been affecting the rhythm of my heart beat.  I have always had a heart that skipped beats but now it is getting worse.  Would having gas cause your heart to beat different.

Hi...as Flycaster has mentioned it can very well be the GERD...acid reflux or gas as u call it, but always go to a Dr for an eval as it is possible for this to be ur heart as well.

Look to ur family's medical history and get checked....

It is also possible that the reflux is affecting ur vagus nerve...
The best thing is to see a Dr.

I think yes, it could.  Do you know what kind of rhythm issues you have?  PVC's/PAC's aren't generally dangerous, many of us have them.  However, A-Fib, for example, is a potentially dangerous condition.  I hope you are seeing a cardiologist to sort out your issues.
