Globus Hystericus(Something Stuck in throat)

How can I possible get rid of Globus Hystericus.I went to an ENT,he stuck the tube down through my nose and said nothing was there. How far does that tube go down?Is this or has there ever been a condition where these symptoms(feeling of something stuck in throat)proven to be anything else? Some days are better than others.

I had all the same symptoms and I had an endoscopy, biopsy and blood tests done to discover that I have celiac disease. I have been on a gluten free diet for a little over a month and I feel much better. I also have gerd which causes me that globus sensation sometimes. I cannot eat any acidic fruits or juices and sodas. Sometimes certain combinations of food causes me problems. I'm also diabetic and suffer of arthritis.I found a wonderful website greattastenopain.com  by Sherry Brescia. I recommend it a 100%. I hope this helps everyone. Do not be discourage, think positive.

I don't think the ENT goes very far down, because I had one go down my throat.  However, it was some years prior to that I felt like something was caught in my throat.  I found out it is a common ailment of people who are stressed out and anxious.  If you and other around you don't see yourself as stressed out and anxious, you might try a GI specialist and ask for an upper GI series.
