I'm 20 years old & for the past 2 months i've been waking up in the early morning with bad indigestion, i get bad nausea & cannot stop hiccuping, burping & my stomach make's some weird noises.
I feel so unwell with it.
All i drink is water, & i do drink alot of water at night. Could this be why? My Dad said sometimes drinking water on a empty stomach can give you indigestion. Is this true?
I do try & eat atleast 2 hours before i go to bed, but it's usuallu junk food (chips, biscuits, chocolate)
I've had a thorough Bowel study a few months ago cause i also get constipation but nothing showed up.
But i do take my contraception pill every night at 10pm (which i started taking not long before the indigestion came), could it be that kicking in or something?
Hi...have u been checked for a hiatal hernia?...the hiccups sounds like it could be a possibility and u should be checked.
A good chiropractor can do manual manipulations on hernias to help move them down and this helps with all the hiccups and reflux...it calms it down.
Eating less than 3 to 4 hrs b4 lying down can play into ur issues as well as greasy chips and chocolate r not really advisable with these issues....
Sometimes gerd can be a result of other meds, so do look up ur contraception pill for side effects.
Some meds should be taken with food to allow a safer absorption...do look at recommended timing for ur meds, u may want to try to take them with ur dinner.
