Looking for good acid reflux diet sources

I've been reading about foods that are ok and not ok and am frustrated by the contradictions. Foods I have seen called both beneficial and to be avoided include: raisins, yogurt, cola, berries and others. One article even claimed that raisins were good because they naturally RAISE your stomach acid. That can't be right can it?

Anyway, I have found many websites with brief lists of good and bad foods, but if anyone knows of a site with a comprehensive list that I can rely on I'd appreciate the tip. Thanks!

Try the Health Pages here on MedHelp...the first is a list of foods to avoid and further down the list is a page on safe foods.

The big contradiction is who wrote the list u rr looking at...I can make a list that I need to avoid and they may be ok for someone else, so only use them as a starting point....u have to determine which u safe for u and which r the ones to avoid......
I am sure most of the ones to avoid will be on ur list as well.

Hope this is helpful.

Yes, there are good acid reflux sites out there.

My favorite: http://www.tellmeaboutreflux.com.

It's an excellent resource. And yes, there's a comprehensive food list.

Here's an example of what I mean by contradictions. Take a look at this web page. Alkaline foods shouldbe good for reflux and acidic foods bad. But look how many things on the list seem to contradict what we read in other places.
