My Acid Refulx is scary, please offer any ideas

My reg family doc wanted me to go to see the gastro doctor to have an endo done back like 3 or 4 months ago when he had to switch me from protonix (which is my 2nd or 3rd med to try for acid reflux) to Nexium , the strongest dose 40 mgs I think.  Well at the time I didn't have time to go see the gastro doc.  But I had to go see a ENT because of an ear infection and he said my throat looked really irriated and I had better get my acid reflux checked out.   Plus now I take Nexium and Zantac 150 otc.  That's only temporary until I go to the gastro doc.  But this worries me... regular prescriptions aren't helping.  I also have to take Questran for irritable bowl.  Do you think that is what is making me have severe heartburn?    I am tired of being sick and have been tested for everything in the book.  Feel free to read my posts in other forums.  Here are the meds I am own - Questran - 1 packet for irritable bowl, Prozac for OCD, Allergy Injections, Methyldopa for blood pressure, and Trilipix for Triglycerides (nearly 1000), and Vitamin  D.  I am only 30!!  I am overwieght but work hard to get rid of it with little or no results.  They even checked me for Cushings.  My TSH is low at 0.3 and I have a Goiter but no known thyroid problem.  I have acne.    Anyone know what could be causing my heartburn to be so severe?

Hi...
Questran or Cholestyramine may cause side effects. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:

constipation
bloating
stomach pain
gas
upset stomach
vomiting
diarrhea
loss of appetite
heartburn
indigestion
If you experience the following symptom, call your doctor immediately:
