Nausea

For the last 4-5 years i started feeling more dizzy and nouxious then usual.When i feel overwhelmed by the things i have to do..or sad...or anxious this symptoms are more stronger and i can not eat anything and feel hot,nausea my head seems heavy ,i can stand up but i feel with no energy...and also i get more saliva in my mouth and a strange taste  and my stomach hurts...food smell makes me nouxious especially meat,but others too.
My pshycologist said it is from anxiety..but i am not so sure...maybe i have  physical..problem
Please help...

Hi,
This looks more like a functional problem though organic cause has to be ruled out. Since you get more saliva in your mouth and a strange taste along with abdominal pain, GI problem has to be ruled out. An upper GI endoscopy and 24 hours pH monitoring would be helpful for confirming it.

Hi, I am a 62 year old woman who has had to struggle with Anxiety most of my life.
As I am getting olders it worsens when not I do not do what I should to keep it under control.  First, I do not like medications so I have had a struggle with doctors telling me that I need them.  Finally I came to the conculsion that I do need medication.  I have an Anxiety Disorder that can bring on a Seizer if it gets out of control.   I was on an anti-seizer medicaton but it was too much on my digestive tract.  I take 1/2 mg. 3 times a day of Lorazapem or as needed to keep me calmer.  I also take Zantac 75 mg. morning and night to keep acid at bay.  I walk for excercise. I avoid all acid producing foods.  We give up a lot of tasty foods having GERD but in the long run we eat healthier. I need to find ways of rest.  When stress is too much I reach out to others and sometimes most take more medication.  It does balance me in a better way.  A more natural way would have made me happier but i have tried so many things.  I have had to adjust my life so much but it does create a better quality of life when I am true to it.  We all fall off the wagon and either stress, lack of rest and bad foods remind us once again that our system can not function that way and once again stay true to what is best for us.  You must face reality and see that Anxiety is very real and very powerful.  Get the help you need for this and adjust your life for the better.  It took me too many years to do this. Please help yourself now and make the rest of your life better.
