Nissen Fundiplication

My father just had this Nissen Fundiplication surgery done.  However, he had his gall bladder removed a couple of years ago, will this affect the success of this procedure? In addtion, he is also diabetic?  Thanks

HI.....not sure how the nissen can affect result of a GB that was removed a few yrs earlier...what r ur concerns?

I am sure the surgeon that did the procedure took all of this into consideration  and if there would have been issues...he would have discussed them with ur father prior to the surgery.

That includes the diabetic side of it as well.

Not being a dr, I have no words of wisdom except to say...trust in the drs u have in place, if a problem should occur and they do not respond....get a second opinion.

Good luck
