Questions about LPR and GERD

Does anyone with silent reflux or gerd have problems with phlegm in throat? I've had this for awhile and my doc wants a chest ct. I had an xray which was clear. I am very leery of ct scans as i have had quite a few in my early years. I'd really like to pursue the gastro part of this before jumping to a ct. I have no other symptoms but the feeling of phlegm in throat. Any input would be helpful.

  Hi...yes I have severe PND and reflux....not so Silent but none the less reflux...

Do have your Dr check to make sure it is not a histamine issue....mine was...I  no longer saw benefits from PPI's in fact got worse....but the H2b is helping me and I only take them when I have a flare up or eat items like Pizza ....typical foods or drink that may cause the symptoms to flare...and it helps me...I very rarely need to take the meds....

Look at the possibilities it may be an allergy or something along those lines.....as well as looking at LPR.
