dyspepsia and pain on middle right side of chest

by mayank34, Oct 13, 2009 11:40PM
Hello Doctor,

I am having dyspepsia since last 2 and hour years ago. During dyspepsia the acid does come up the esophagus but not always. The heat burn is absent most of the time. However, I do get pain just in the middle right side of the chest. The pain is such that it pains in the front as well as on the back side at the same point. Usually the pain is releived a little if I try to take out gas from above by pushing abdominal muscles inside. I take raciper when the acidity increases.

Also I feel that I am not able to clear the bowl completely. If I try to go to clear the bowl it doesnot happen immediately, but if I go for running for say 10 minutes, I can clear the bowl instantly. I have to clear to bowl atleast four times a day.

I had got the endoscopy done 2 and half years ago. I had neither ucler nor infected by H pylori (though I had taken antibiotics a week before going for endoscopy).

I have fissure followed by fistual from which I have recovered completely.

The main concern is the dyspepsia and the pain that I get on the right middle side of chest. Please advise.

Hi,
You can continue taking Raciper.
If you have abdominal bloat also, you can take prokinetics along with it.

Hello Dr.

I also have allergic rhinitis. Since my symptoms of dyspepsia and chest pain is not going aways since 2 and half years, can it be also eosinophilic gastritis?

Regards,
Mayank
