feeling nauseous after meals

by Melindamae, Oct 31, 2009 05:34PM
My boyfriend has been feeling nauseous after meals for the past several days. he is eating different foods, has no known allergies, has just started working out recently, and thinks being nauseous is not a sign of anything to worry about.

I have had upper abdominal swelling for apx 2 weeks, most uncomfortable after eating, acid reflux all the time.  Went to my GP and he took an exray and thought I had a blockage in my large intestin. He suggested magnesium citrate for initial cleaning out of intestines, protonix for the acid reflux and subscribed amtiza to keep my stool soft.  I followed all suggestions and I am still unable to eat solid foods, I've tried staying on a liquid diet since solid food makes me neaseous and my upper abdoman swell, though I still eat a yogurt in the morning. The neaseousness is increasing and my throat even feels as though it's swollen.  Although this has been increasingly uncomfortable, it has not been extremely painful. I'm afraid I'm not going to get enough nourishment from just drinking juices, any suggestions?
I'm waiting for an appointment with a gastroenterologist. HELP
