Problems after open Fundoplication surgery

Hello,
I have undergone open Funpolication surgery and hiatal repair about a 1.5 months ago. I don't have reflux anymore but have developed new problems like bloating and pain in stomach. I have severe pain in stomach after I eat anything and often have upset stomach. My doctor has prescribed few medicines but those are not helping very well. Will these problems continue in future as well or will subside over the period? Also, I have heard that people, who have undergone fundoplication are not able to produce vomit forever. Is it so? Or, is vomitting possible, considering any case of emergency?
I have one more question that I had splenectomy done with the open fundoplication. Will I have to take any extra care in future, as I have the spleen removed?

Hi...sometimes those that have surgeries in the stomach locations develop H. Pylori....ask ur dr about this and see if this could be an issue....u will need an antibiotic if this is the problem...and since antibiotics can cause a yeast issue it may be best to ask for Diflucan to avoid that issue.

If that is not the problem ask ur dr about a probiotic to balance out ur stomach acids and enzymes.

Good luck
