My son has been type 1 diabetic for 32 years.  he is having headaches with stomach ache and now vomiting.  Has 18 different meds he is prescribed to take. could this be related or will Aleve cause these symptoms

Aleve is naproxen.  it can cause stomach problems, ulcers and even bleeding of the stomach!  If the doctor didn't recommend it along with all the other meds, he should probably not take it.  Eating basil or smelling the basil oil can help the headaches.  So much better than Aleve.  (Don't get me wrong, naproxen is the only NSAID that helps my Fibromyalgia).  But it can cause severe stomach problems.

  Hi...the aleve may  just take the edge off his HA and not really help what is wrong...I suggest he see his Dr/s for more details and an exam to see if it is med related or something else like gall bladder is going on.
