my 5yr old might have acid reflux...

My 5yr old for the first week he had severe vomiting and stomach cramps.then the next two weeks he started to refuse to eat.he will only drink liquid drinks n food,he says it feels like theres some thing in his throat behind his voicebox area and it feels like food will get stuck.he also has stomach cramps, sorethroat, pain while urinating and has a rash near anal area and pain while pooping.his doctor thinks it might be acid reflux.the acid reflux medicine his doctor gave him seems to help a little, could this be something else other then acid reflux. He already been to the doctors 8 different times and ear, nose n throat doctor twice, there is nothing in his throat.his blood and urine tests came back fine,no infections???

Have they run blood work???  I'd start there.  It doesn't sound typical of GERD but not everything is by the book.  Is he on Prilosec or something else?

Seems like something more than just Reflux...

Have you seen a Pediatric GI?  That may be your next step ... I'm not a Dr,. just a mom but if they think Reflux, a Pedi GI should be included in your group of docs in my opinion.  My daughter used to get the urinary pain, too, and in her case was from inflammation which eventually settled down when all the rest got better in the reflux dept.
