Gallstones why does my appendix area hurt?

So, I went to the E R because me belly near belly button had  had been hurting in the same spot for 4 days. They did an mri and I was told that my appendix is fine but they did find gallstones. Afterwards I stopped being able to go to the bathroom and had not gone #2 since the day before ER 3days prior then my chest started hurting and it felt like heartburn which I figured it was because of the constipation. With the meds from the Dr. I finally went number 2. But my chest still hurts like really bad on and off heartburn
And my right side where my apendix is still hurts too like constantly sore/tender.
So, not I am not sure if it is just heaburn or because of the gallstones.

I am wondering if this has happened to anyone else before?
They said a surgeon would call me in a few days about the gallstones. It didn't sound like they were going to remove my gallbladder but they might.

This probably won't help but I had appendicitis pain aswell. The first doctor thought I had the start of an appendix infection. A week later I was still sick but the pain moved under my ribs. The second doctor I saw knew immediately what it was and said he had seen other people present with appendicts pain aswell, he thought it was caused by refered pain down the muscles, or an irritation in the bowel by small stones or too much bile. But he did point out it was only a theory.
