Hida Scan

I am having the hida scan in the morning. Is there a certain percentage at which surgery is required immediately? Also is it possible for the gallbladder to rupture when give the hormone to contract?

I did. The hidascan yesterday and they had to give morphine to get the dye to go in my gallbladder. So it will have to come out but I have to wait until I see the surgeon to know how soon. I haven't been able to keep much down since the test. any tips

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  The percentage that determines whether surgery is required depends on the doctor and your symptoms.  It is very unlikely for the gallbladder to rupture.
