Hello,
I've been feeling protruding in the right lower stomach just a little bow the belly line for a few days now.
It started with some sensation of radiated pain to my left testiscle groin, couple of weeks ago, but that is barely felt anymore, since I'm being careful with that area, but since the last few days I've been feeling this sensation I describe on the right side. I had an appendix removal almost a decade ago, can that start doing an incisional hernia?
I don't see any major bump, except for my vein. Also, I noticed that I even if I lay down its not nesssecarly gone, I can still feel it. Being more in a blended position while sitting seem to a little relief it, although not completely.
I went today to the urologist for the initial problem with my testiscle/groin, he pressed on my groin on both sides and asked me to caugh but didn't notice any bump. Also he confirmed my bladder gets empty, and will also check my urine and referred me to a scrotum ultrasound.
In general he said he doesn't treat hernia of the stomach, and I will need to get back to my family doctor. I already have an appointment with the gastroenterologist but that's in two weeks.
Any idea what could cause the symptoms I'm experiencing? Is it always a hernia? The sensation I'm feeling is dull, a bit of pressure, I can kinda feel how gas/stuff move in in it. Maybe a bit of pin and needles not fully sure.
Could this be anything other than hernia like some gut/colon bacterial infection?
Thanks!
