Acidic Taste, Gas, Diarrhea, Help me..

I have a very strange form of diarrhea I think, I don't know what to do anymore and a doctor in my area won't see me or treat me for it for months. I get this diarrhea every 1 or two days in between, I have had no solid movements in a year, and I always get an acidic taste in my throat before I go on the diarrhea spree. It will not even stop if I take the off-brand of immodium, I am unsure if Immodium is more powerful, but it's strange. It seems to only be active when I have to go, but its never solid. There is absolutely no pain, which is why it doesn't seem to be important to my physician, they say just take immodium, but I want an answer. It doesn't show up in bloodwork either, but when I took anti-biotics this one week, it slowed it down a little, but I don't know if its Crohn's, anyone out there with a second opinion as to what I might have? I am also diabetic and heavy-set.

it sounds like you might have more than one problem if there is a way to see a gastroenterologist I would he/she could nail it down for ya.

Did they check to see if your lactose intolerant?

I have sworn off milk and dairy products for a long time now, I've even tried cutting out fats and keeping a very close eye on my sugar, but sure enough, every day or two, I get it and it makes me tired and irritable, it might be multiple things but I thought maybe someone somewhere had experienced it before so I tried here for help. lol. And as far as nailing it down, I have a few months till I have an appointment to see one by the sounds of what my doctor says.
