This involves heating the dilated (and likely bleeding) vessel in the cecum, which is at the end of the large colon. There are various ways to apply thermal treatment by ablation using probes, endoscopic cautery or also non-contact Argon gas Plasma Coagulation (APC).
The latter seems to be a rather safe approach, to treat
bleeding in the cecum, but you need to discuss this with your treating doctor, for the best options for your particular
situation.
