After Gallbladder Removal/Serious health issues

Hi,

I came here in hopes to get pointed in the right direction. I had my gallbladder out 2 months ago, laperscopically. Right, afterwards I was in an extraordinary amount of pain, and ended up being hospitalized again. They ran a CAT Scan and other tests. Their assumption was I had a leftover stone , and that it must have finally passed.

Since, I have had constant diahrrea, alot of weight loss, fatigue. I have had  mild to moderate dizzy spells,  and lightheadedness. I have been to alot of doctor's. My PCP, they have run all sorts of tests and everything is coming back fine. All my blood work is fine. No anemia, no diabetes, no nothing is showing up. Also, since the surgery my blood pressure has even gotten lower than what it used to be. It used to be always around 110/60 or a little higher. Now everytime its  measured its 98/60 or lower. I also have a panic disorder, so having all these symptoms and no explanation is driving me  nuts. I am in constant fear and a state of worry. Can anyone lead me in the right direction? Could all these things be an aftermath of the surgery?

Thank you so much for your time
Michele

You know,I have the same thing with exception of the bloodpressure issues!!I had my gallbladder removed in November 2005,I had gallstones since I was 17 weeks pregnant,it was horrible!!I was going to have the GB taken out 2 weeks after delivery but ended up with the c-section so I had to wait 3 months!!I've been miserable ever since, can't eat normal,I ran all those tests too and am diagnosed with IBS,but I can eat less things than when I had my gallbladder,I thought I would be better, eveybody seems to be fine after that surgery but not me!I'm getting a lot of anxiety attacks, and my uppe body just hurts;it's hard to run after a toddler,my heaartburn is bad too,but the nexium s helping also with the whole overall problem,I would still like to find out why I'm not back "normal".....I hope somehow we can all figure this out,my doctors don't know what to do anymore....

I had my gallbladder removed 4 days ago.  I am having a terrible time with the pain, even with pain killers.  I am slumped over and my stomach feels tight like I am 8 months pregnant.  It still hurts to move and I barely can take a shower.  I thought the pain would subside in a few days but I am still in square one when I left the hospital.  I also have not had a bowel movement in over a week, right before my surgery.  I am on a normal diet except for red meats and fatty greasy foods since I am still in pain and I don't want to add to it.  Does anyone know how long this pain will last?  I have to support my whole stomach when I move around and my back is killing me from slumping over all the time.
Thanks guys!!

I had my GB out in 2005 ,and never got any better afterwards only worse. There is a  diease you  can get after you get your GB out, its called SOD - sphincter of oddi, and it is very hard to get a dx. I went around to one GI after another trying to find out some answers and had every test they could think off , only for them not to show anything. I opened a support group about four months ago for SOD and pancreatitis being that they usally go hand and hand. We now have over 150 members in less than four months and the people on there are just like you and me with their stories. I did how ever get fed up enough and reserched a GI specialist in MN named Dr Freeman, he was a blessing to say the least. I traveled 14 hours to see him, had about three test done, had sents put in the pancreas duct and sphincter duct. He done a ERCP on me to do this , but I also FINALLY got my dx of SOD #3 and mild chronic pancreatitis. So yeah all of this happen from getting my GB out, and it was a total nightmare to try and find someone that knew what they were doing and gave a **** about me! I will add my email on here if you would like to get in touch and also leave the link to my support group in yahoo. I dont know if it will show up being I knoticed they seem to block some peoples, but I will still try. If it don't show the link then just go to yahoo groups and seach for sphincterofoddi_pancreatitis, and you can get to it there. I have a load of info on there and I even had a GI specialist come in and look and replied back to me that he was impressed and would be referring his SOD and CP people there!!! That was a nice pat on the back and made me feel good. Hope to talk to you soon and that you get this, also email is women_2020@  yahoo addy,
