After surgery pains

I had chronic appendicitis 2 years ago. They did a normal surgery on me (not laproscopic) and after the surgery I get pains from the scarred area upto my right upper thigh area and the right side of my groin. It's a shooting pain which feels like I'm being pricked with needles.
I've been to many doctors, they doon't seem to be able to actually diagnose precisely what the problem is.
What can be done to cure it?

What ever happened with your situation?  I am experiencing the same exact feeling.  Like prickling needles where I had my opperation.  Did you find out what it was? I had surgery in April 2009.  Its now August

It's possible that you may have developed adhesions following the surgery and a nerve may have gotten 'trapped' within the connective tissue of the adhesion. There is a branch of manual medicine called visceral manipualation developed by an osteopath in France named Barral. A trained practitioner may be able to help.
