Back and Chest pain after eating

For about 2 years now after eating before going to bed... yes a bad idea... I have been suffering from sharp pains in my back. It starts on the right side then moves to my chest....under my right breast then to my entire back. It feels like I need to burp, or get the gas out the other end but  it hurts  too much to do so. I feel nauseated and have problems sleeping. Could this be from digestion? This pain can last for several hours. What can I do to stop this from happening? What is happening to me? It scares me.

No! You should definately go to your doctor, and explain the symptoms you're having!!! Never suggest, (or let anyone else suggest to you), that you 'just let it go, or just deal with it'! If not treated properly, the situation could get alot worse. I have had acid reflux, and mine was pretty painful...probably b/c, at the time I didn't do anything about it, just thought I was having heartburn or something. So I probably waited too long before I got something for it. DON'T WAIT...GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR

I have heard that too. It could be acid reflex my sister thinks it has something to do with digestion or something. She says that I need to go to a doctor but I don't know. Should I go to a doctor to find out what this is or just deal with it?

Sounds to me like ACID REFLUX. They say that you should never eat within 2 hrs. of going to bed.....guess the food takes that long to settle. I'm bad at it sometimes too.lol. But I know from experience how painful it is!
