Bloody mucus

I've been having this problem for the past week or so, and its really starting to bother me. When I go to the bathroom, all that comes out is a red tinged mucus, sometimes small amounts of stool. I also have bad gas, but it doesn't smell. I've also been having chest pains, but I'm not sure they are related.

I've been eating alot and drinking plenty of water, but the problem still persists.

Do you also have stomach pain? I would certainly call the doctor and make an appointment. Also, have you ever had this problem before? Bloody mucus isn't normal.
